Presentation of news and ideas how to systematically address Mutliparton Interactions and parton showers.
Judith gave a presentation about HEPMC-ROOT in LCG meeting on Wednesday:
  Question to HEPMC-ROOT interface: how is the connection to RIVET, can it/should it be merged with RIVET at some stage ?

- Saturation effects in CCFM
K.Kutak presented fist attempts and calculations to included saturation effects into CASCADE using absorptive boundaries. He showed first results on inclusive cross sections and on delta phi in jet production. Including saturation helps to describe data better. It is the first attempt to include consistently saturation effects into a Monte Carlo generator and to simulate final states.

- Report from MPI@LHC workshop in Perugia
F. Bechtel reported on the MPI@LHC workshop, and showed a summary of the results and ideas presented there. A discussion came up on a systematic survey of experimental evidence for MPI and relevant theoretical approaches.

- Grid school
Bogdan reportet on his ideas for a Grid school. The aima and goals of this school need to be properly defined. THe school could introduce to general grid issues follwed by experiment specific tutorials. We should also involve ILC people.
