Welcome to the Terascale Accelerator School 2008
The Terascale Accelerator School 2008 will be at held at DESY in Hamburg on March 10-14.
Main topics are:
- Large Hadron Collider
- Linear Colliders
- Superconducting RF Structures
- Novel Accelerator Concepts
The school covers the physics and engineering concepts of relativistic
accelerators and colliders. The programme comprises introductory lectures
into the concepts of modern accelerators. The afternoons are reserved for
student exercises that are discussed and evaluated.
The school is directed at students that have completed the physics base
courses, typically 6 semesters. It is equally available for young postdocs
seeking deeper understanding of the accelerators that provide the data for
HEP collisions.
The school fee of € 25 has to be paid cash at the registration desk during
the school.
